I see a lotta people asking about wands in Harry Potter, if they’re needed for magic etc.
So basically going off what I know about wands in general in the not-Harry Potter-world, wands are used to direct/focus various energies. So what I am assuming, in Harry Potter, when they’re like blowing up their aunts and shit, it’s from a surge of emotion and causes just sporatic magical happenings in a wave that can’t be controlled; if a witch/wizard were learned enough (like Dumbledore) they may be able to focus their magic without a wand, but really wands are just powerful magic conduits that sort of create a stream instead of a wave of the magical energy. That’s why it’s important that the wand and the wizard/witch match; each person has a different, personal magic, and the tool used to focus that magic has to jive appropriately with the person using the wand.

OH LOOK! WHAT IS THIS?
Yes, it is the beginning of that famous Hufflepuff scarf I talk about for months !
I started it a few weeks ago and here’s what it looks like at the moment.
I’ll post the pattern I’m using during the week if you guys are interrested! It’s not a real knitting pattern but it’s enough to my mind to do that “little” scarf. (Slynia, whose this is the present wants it to be 2 meters long at least ! :D)Well, that’s all for the moment, I’ll continue my knitting now!
Laters!

Finally bought a shirt today so I can wear my Hufflepuff tie when I go to Leavesden Studios on Monday. Because I am the cool kind of 22 year old.
The kind who is only slightly ashamed of crouching in the children’s school clothes section of Asda, ruining the perfectly packaged blouses to see if a 15-16 year old boy wears the same size shirt as me.
And yes, Tumblr. Yes, he does.
